Jennifer Hale

Jennifer Hale, RN, BS, CHPN, is the Executive Director for the Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  With more than 20 years experience as a clinician and health care manager, Jennifer leverages her knowledge of healthcare delivery and trends in regulatory matters to improve visibility of the organization at a variety of stakeholder tables including Georgia’s Department of Community Health, the Georgia Pain Initiative, the Healthcare Ethics Consortium of Georgia, and the Georgia Cancer Coalition.

Jennifer came to Georgia in 2002 from Texas and worked first as a case manager in hospice care, rising to a regional compliance position with a national hospice provider over the course of several years.  In 2007, Jennifer was elected to the Board for GHPCO and became the interim director in 2008 where she has remained, acting as an advocate for hospice and palliative care across the state and at the national level.  Jennifer was elected as the National Council of States Chair in 2012 and serves as a liaison to the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Board of Directors and Hospice Action Network Board as well.

Jennifer is currently pursuing her Master’s in Nursing in Healthcare Management.
